Indus Valley Civilization and their Arts and Humanities
The Indus have created pottery. They made pots with clay and used them as storage. They also made many different kinds of jewelry. They used these jewelry to attract different people. They also used jewelry for means of income.
Indus Valley Civilization and their Social Stratification
The Indus have seperated their society into four ranks. First they have the Priest-Kings, they are the people who are in the "Citadel" part of the city. Also they have the traders and artisans, they are the people who aren't that rich but are doing well. Then they have the farmers, they are the people who are not that poor but can handle thrmselves. And lastly they have the slaves, these guys were forced into slavery and are the poorest out of all of them.
History of the Indus Valley Civilization
The Indus come from India and migrated to South Asia. As they got their they started building cities. The cities Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa were the two big cities they made. As they were living there, they developed farming and agriculture. They stayed near the Indus River.
Religion of the Indus Valley Civilization
The Indus Valley Civilization believed in many different Gods and Goddesses. This religion is called "Polytheism". They believed that there were Gods for the sun, moon, harvest and many others. They portrayed their Gods and Goddesses in some clay pictograms. Some Gods and Goddesses had horns and had other animal qualities.
